Eco-friendly!
A Smite is eco-friendly in every step. Vehiconomics has undergone extensive work in significantly reducing its impact on the environment from the manufacturing stage on to driving your Smite through city traffic.
You can choose your Smite with combustion engine or electric. By using lightweight materials, minimizing vehicle complexity and size, Vehiconomics reduces vehicle weight by some 90% compared to a mid sized car. The tiny engine thus sufficient consumes approx. 0,15 liter gas per 10 km! For each liter gas consumed by a car, more than two kilos of carbon dioxide pollutes our atmosphere.
Huge effectiveness using limited means.
Safety & Energy Absorption Zones
The combination of a strong and stiff chassis and a crash is a potential death trap, as acceleration rapidly approaches infinity. The use of Energy Absorption Zones commonly used in F1 cars made out of aluminum honeycomb, composites or plastic foam, reduces acceleration to acceptable levels. This is what happens when the steel chassis in a car crumbles on impact: the impact energy is "eaten" by the material, i.e. effectively transformed into heat.
As the kinetic energy is linearly dependent on mass, the energy that needs to be absorbed is significantly lower in a light vehicle than in a heavy ditto. As it is also a function of the squared speed, impact energy is generally very much lower in a city setting than on the highway.
